The sandwiches here are excellent. I usually get the BLT and everything is always fresh. The bread is freshly made every time and the bacon is cooked perfectly. I have also tried their soups, recommend those as well. To top it off, it is super affordable. I end up paying less than at subway for higher quality.
we would visit the schaumburg farmers market every week just to get focaccia from Elena’s! the couple who run the booth are so friendly and passionate about their ingredients which you can totally tell when eating their food. 11/10
Elenas makes the best sandwiches. They have very limited hours but offer large portions and everything is always fresh. My only complaint, they rarely have grilled chicken for their amazing Caesar salad. That thing is my absolute favorite...make grilled chicken Elenas!
I ordered the margarita focaccia and it was baked fresh for me that day :) *must order in advance I was expecting it to be more bread like and less “pizza like” because that’s what I thought focaccia was... but it was good and I recommend this place!
The subs are out of control good! I wanted to order everything on the menu but, went with the Fatso, Piccante, & Bourdain. Definitely will be back.
We stopped in today wanting to try something new. Stumbled upon this GEM! Wow! My boyfriend and I each got their Handmade sandwiches. We also got their pizzas to go. These Pizza’s we’re amazing! Their sandwiches were so delicious! We will definitely be returning!! Also... try their Lemon Cookies. I myself, am not a huge fan on Lemon, however they changed my view as these just melt in your mouth!!
Heard about this place through a friend at work. Ended up ordering a Salvatore sub with pasta salad. Everything was absolutely phenomenal, easily the best sub I've had in forever. My only complaint was that there was a bit too little meat that it ended up being overshadowed by how good the cheese, sauce and spices were.. However even the meat on it's own was one of the single best cuts of meat I've ever had.. They also gave me a free lemon cookie which was great. Definitely will come back
Casual homemade Italian food to-go with a generous menu of dinner catering and desserts. Ordered the sandwich raved about on FB...the Bourdain. A delicious, hot Italian meat and cheese sandwich that I added onion, lettuce and tomato to...wow! Warm and gooey/fresh and crisp combo at it's flavorful finest! It's a MUST try!
